Here's an interesting story on President Obama’s presumptive nominee for the new Secretary of the Treasury. I tappears his nominee, Jacob J. Lew, has a very strange looking signature. It doesn’t look anything like the actual spelling of his name. It’s just a bunch of crazy circles.
Here’s the problem: The Secretary of the Treasury has their signature PRINTED on all the new U.S. currency. Can you imagine this silly looking autograph on your dollars? The Bureau of Printing and Engraving will likely insist on Lew adapting a more legible signature. This is sort of slightly embarrassing. Lesson learned: try not to have a silly autograph if you expect to hold public office.
